What the score measures

Your score combines what a customer is likely to see before they call you. We show every category and the points it earned. If we can't check something, we leave it out of the math instead of scoring it as zero.

  • Platform coverage and consistency

Whether you're listed and claimed where customers look, with the same name, address and phone.

What the wider web says about you (beta).

  • Complaints and risk flags

Signals like complaint-site listings that can scare customers off.

Bad-review alerts

Early-warning mention alerts (public sources)

We check the biggest sources every day and the rest every week.

Common questions

Lookbright is an online perception score for local businesses.

What is an online perception score?

It's a 0–100 score of how your business looks to someone researching you online. Lookbright combines your reviews, maps listings, social pages, website, web mentions and AI answers into one number, and shows the categories behind it.

Is the score really free?

Yes. You can get your score and report for free, with no credit card. You only pay if you choose a plan for monitoring and fix tools.

Where does the data come from?

60+ sources checked, including Google, Yelp, Facebook, Apple Maps and AI assistants like ChatGPT.

How is the score calculated?

Each category gets points based on the data we found. Categories we couldn't check are left out of the calculation, not scored as zero.

Will Lookbright post replies to my reviews automatically?

No. Lookbright writes reply drafts. You edit and approve each one, then post it to Google in one click. Nothing goes live without your OK.

Can Lookbright help me get only positive reviews?

No, and no honest tool should. Lookbright sends the same review link to every customer you choose to ask, without screening out unhappy customers first, without rewards, and without telling customers what to write. Google's review policy doesn't allow merchants to selectively ask for positive reviews, and the FTC warns that asking only customers you expect to be happy can be deceptive.

Do you write or buy reviews?

Never. We don't create, buy or remove reviews, and we don't hide negative ones.

Does Lookbright guarantee a higher Google ranking or that ChatGPT will recommend me?

No. No one controls Google's rankings or AI answers. We track where you appear, show what's holding you back, and give you honest steps that tend to help.

What does “AI visibility” mean?

When people ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google's AI answers for the best electrician or plumber in your city, we check whether your business is mentioned and what's said. This feature is in beta.

What do mention alerts cover?
  • Lookbright mention alerts check public sources for new mentions of your business.
  • We check the biggest sources every day and the rest every week.
  • Every day: news sites and new web pages Google has indexed in the last 24 hours.
  • Every week: complaint sites and local forums (found through Google search).
  • You get an instant alert for anything urgent as soon as a check finds it, and one weekly summary for everything else.
  • Urgent means a mention or review that reports a safety or fire hazard (for example sparks, shocks, unsafe wiring or code violations), accuses you of fraud or a scam, threatens legal action (a lawsuit, an attorney, small claims, or an attorney-general or BBB complaint), or accuses you of unlicensed work.
  • Everything else, such as no-shows, poor work, billing disputes, price complaints, and neutral or positive mentions, goes in your weekly summary.
  • Every alert links to the source for you to review.
  • Lookbright never replies or posts on its own; if you want to respond, we draft a reply for you to edit and post yourself.
  • Private chats, private groups, DMs and closed communities (for example WhatsApp, private Facebook groups, private Discord servers, Telegram or Slack) are not covered.
  • New posts can take from minutes to a few days to show up where we can see them.
I have several locations. Is there a plan for me?

Yes. Brands with 5–24 locations pay $49 per location per month, and 25–99 locations pay $39 per location per month.

How does billing work, and can I cancel?

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. You can change plans, update your card, download invoices or cancel any time from your billing portal. When a plan ends, you keep your free score.

What happens to my data?

We use the business name, email, city, and trade from the waitlist form to send your free score and product updates. The privacy page says what we collect and how to ask us to delete it.
